The National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) in Brazil has approved the continuation of requests for re-bidding at the airports of Natal (RN) and Viracopos (SP). The concessionaires Inframérica and Aeroportos Brasil Viracopos S / A submitted the request in March this year.
With the recognition of the technical and legal feasibility on Tuesday by ANAC, the processes go to the Ministry of Infrastructure, which will issue an opinion on the compatibility of requests with the policy for the airline sector. The re-bidding process, with the agency's and ministry's manifestations, is then submitted to the Council of the Partnerships and Investments Program (PPI), prior to the decision of the President of the Republic on the qualification of the contract. After all this process of qualifying the airport by the Federal Executive Branch, preparation for the new concession begins, including regarding the need to approve a new grant plan.
