FC achieved for Zayed City Scools in Abu Dhabi

BESIX and Plenary Group have announced the financial close for the Zayed City Schools public-private partnership (PPP) project in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The BESIX – Plenary consortium was awarded the projects by the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK). The consortium is responsible for the financing, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and a 20-year operation and maintenance of three new school campuses with a total capacity of 5,360 students in Zayed City, Abu Dhabi.

HSBC, Intesa Sanpaolo and The Norinchukin Bank have provided senior debt financing with a long-term maturity.
