The Commission for Promotion of Public-Private Partnerships (Coalianza) of Honduras has published a Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEOI) for the modernization and development of San Lorenzo Terminal, located in the south of Honduras on the Pacific coast, in the department of Valle.
The project consists of works to improve the efficiency and volumes of the loads that are currently handled in the port (bulk liquid, solid, cargo in containers, new vehicles, and merchandise in general), in addition to expanding and diversifying the port services portfolio. This will involve investment in port infrastructure and equipment, Coalianza estimates US$66 million.
EOIs must be submitted by 4 October 2018. The length of the concession contract to be awarded is 30 years.
