Everton stadium gets green light from the government

Everton FC in Liverpool, UK has received approval for the development of a 52,000 capacity stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock. The authority got permission from Liverpool city council and was under review at Ministry of Housing, Communities, and Local Government. The ministry decided not to intervene in the project.

The project will attract an investment of GBP 500 million (US$ 686.73 million). After the approval, Everton FC can move forward with planning and procurement procedures for the stadium.
