Everbright Greentech secures hazardous waste landfill concession in Anhui

China Everbright Greentech Limited has announced that it has recently secured a build-operate-own (BOO) concession for a hazardous waste landfill project in Huaiyuan County, Anhui Province, eastern China, with a total investment of approximately CNY174 million (US$25.7 million).

Everbright Greentech will process hazardous waste and industrial solid waste generated from industrial enterprises in Huaiyuan County for a concession period of no less than 50 years.

The project has an annual designed landfill processing capacity of 40,000 tonnes for industrial solid waste, and also a designed storage capacity of 400,000m3. A planned second phase of the project will expand this to 500,000m3.
