Dutch-Belgian digital infrastructure specialist Eurofiber has announced its acquisition of three French companies: Eurafibre, ATE and Eura DC. Based in Lille, these sister companies have a strong position in the north of France in fiberoptic connectivity, cloud, and managed services, as well as server hosting services in colocation datacenters.
Collectively, these French companies operate more than 2,000 km of fiberoptic network and 2 local datacenters, servicing 150 business parks and 200 municipalities in the north of France.
The acquired companies are strongly complementary with the Eurofiber entities, both in the proximity of their networks and in their vision on open infrastructures. That shared vision means that customers are able to choose connectivity, colocation or cloud infrastructure services according to their own preferences, thus maintaining complete freedom to choose the services, applications, and providers they need.
