Ethiopia is seeking consultant for SGR connecting Ethiopia and Sudan

Ethiopian Railways Corporation (ERC) in Ethiopia has issued a notice inviting consultants to express interest in working on  Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) connecting Ethiopia and Sudan project. The total length of the rail is 1512 km, out of which 594 km of rail will be in Ethiopia and 918 km will be in Sudan. The railway track will connect Addis Ababa, Weldiya, Wereta, GonderMetema, Galabat, Gadarif, Kassala, Haiya, to the Port of Sudan.

The ERC is expecting consultants to deliver services such as Engineering Services, Cost Estimates, Railway Operation Analysis, Environmental and Social Impact Analysis, Economic and Financial Analyses, Economic Evaluation and Sensitivity Analysis, Institutional Analysis, and Private Sector Participation (PPP) Approach feasibility.

Deadline to submit responses to the tender notice is July 09, 2019.
