The Government of Ethiopia (GOE) in partnership with the International Finance Corporation, a unit of World Bank, has launched a legal consultancy tender for a transaction advisor in the issuance of two new full-service licenses for the telecommunication sector.
The task include providing advice on the selection of the most suitable structure for engagement with the private sector, sharing common infrastructure services, proposing license condiction, drafting a call for expression of interest from operators, supporting the GOE and the Ethiopian Communications Authority (ECA) in promoting the award process via an international roadshow assistance in carrying the award process through until licensing, and provision of general advice and support throughout the entire process.
The deadline for the submission of documents is on September 30, 2019.
