The Government of Ethiopia has appointed KPMG as the transaction advisor in the privatization process of the state-owned company Ethio Telecom.
In the coming weeks, the government will also appoint another adviser for the issuing of licenses for other operators who would enter the telecoms sector. The government will award two telecom licenses to multinational mobile companies.
