Equitix has announced the acquisition of seven additional stakes in Building Schools for the Future (BSF) infrastructure projects from International Public Partnerships Limited (INPP).
Equitix has further consolidated its majority stakes in each of the following seven BSF projects: Barking & Dagenham BSF, Barnsley BSF Phase One, Barnsley BSF Phase Two, Barnsley SPV Phase Three, Cambridgeshire BSF, Derbyshire BSF and Essex BSF Phase One. The portfolio covers 15 secondary schools and colleges, including a SEN school, across England and serves more than 18,000 pupils. The projects are underpinned by government-backed long-term inflation-linked income and have long-term senior debt.
Completion of the transaction is subject to the finalisation of certain conditions, including lender consents. Equitix was advised by Fladgate (legal).
