Equatorial won CEEE-D privatization auction

Equatorial Energia won the auction held for the privatization of CEEE-D. CEEE is a state-owned power distribution company responsible for electricity distribution in the state of Rio Grande do Sol.

Equatorial was the only company that submitted the bid of BRL 100,000 (US$ 20,000) for a 65.87% stake of CEEE-D.
