EOI Phase for Television & Radio Towers Infrastructure PPP Project in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Broadcasting Authority (SBA), in collaboration with the National Center for Privatization & PPP (NCP), Launched the Expression of Interest (EOI) Phase for the Television & Radio Towers Infrastructure PPP Project in 143 Locations in Saudi Arabia.
The PPP project aims to develop and operate the SBA towers infrastructure through a private sector partnership under a Rehabilitate-Finance-Operate-Maintain-Transfer (RFOMT) contract model with a 25-year duration. The project seeks to enhance the TV and radio towers infrastructure for the media sector in the Kingdom across 143 locations, upgrading all TV sites from DVB-T/Analogue to DVB-T2 to increase the number of high-quality channels. The initiative includes maintaining and operating the TV and radio towers' infrastructure.
SBA and NCP have invited investors and interested parties to review the EOI document, which contains project information, by visiting the NCP website. The EOI submission phase will conclude on July 21, 2024.
