Roads and Highways Department has issued an EOI seeking a consultancy company for detailed design under Technical Assistance for Road Transport Connectivity Improvement Project Preparatory Facility in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The selected consulting firm(s) will be responsible for:

• preparing detailed engineering designs, safeguard documents and procurement documents of the defined roads/sub-projects for the readiness of the projects' investment and implementation;
• preparing climate-resilient road/bridge designs, which have resistance to coastal disasters;
• preparing detailed designs considering multimodal transport facility enhancement;
• preparing detailed designs for road safety enhancement.

Consulting firms that apply must have qualifications and experience such as technical competence for the detailed design of road/bridge in similar road/highway projects with comparable scale and technical specifications, experience in a similar geographic area and experience in working with Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs). Asian Development Bank acts as a development partner.
