Mozambique’s Administration of Water and Sanitation Infrastructures Public Institute (AIAS, IP) has invited Expressions of Interest (EOI) from consultants to improve sanitation services in the Nampula and Zambezia provinces.
The objective of this assignment is to assist the AIAS, IP in designing and preparing for the implementation of improved sanitation services in small towns. The project has been divided into three phases as follows:
The duration of Phase 1 shall be eight months, phase 2 fourteen months, and phase 3 twenty-four months including twelve months being the defect liability period. The Mozambique Government has secured funding from the World Bank to enhance water supply and sanitation. The aim is to improve access to safe water supply and sanitation services while fostering institutional growth in the sector. A portion of these funds will be allocated to consulting services for the development of a Sanitation Services Model, the design and supervision of Fecal Sludge Management Plants, and the creation of Environmental and Social Instruments.
