PROINVERSIÓN and the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MTC) have invited Expression of Interest (EOI) for the concession of the Anillo Vial Periférico (AVP) Peripheral Ring Road project that will link Lima and Callao in Peru.
The proposal, requiring an estimated investment of US$2,380 million, has been put forth by the Anillo Vial Periférico Consortium, comprising Cintra Global SE and Cintra Infrastructures SE (both part of the Ferrovial Group). The concessionaire will oversee the design, financing, construction, operation, and maintenance of a 34.8 km highway traversing 11 districts in Metropolitan Lima and one district in Callao. The concession's duration will span 30 years from the signing of the concession contract (Closing Date) or until the predetermined present value of toll revenues (VPIP), as stipulated in the concession agreement, is attained.
