Entrevias Concessionária de Rodovias has launched the construction of a 2.4 km new bridge over the Tiete River, part of the SP-333 expansion program located between the municipalities of Novo Horizonte and Pongai, in central São Paulo state, Brazil.

The new bridge being built alongside the existing Borborema bridge will double vehicle capacity for crossing the Tietê River. Designed with wildlife crossings, the structure aims to minimize environmental impact, with 24/7 monitoring by Entrevias using CCTV to track animal movements. This marks the start of a new phase in the SP-333 highway expansion, which includes the duplication of a 52 km stretch between Borborema and Guarantã.

VINCI Highways finalized in May 2023 the acquisition of a 55% stake in Entrevias from Patria, a Brazilian fund, and will hold the concession for two toll highway sections in Brazil until 2047. These two highway sections span a total of 570 km across the state of São Paulo, linking it to the state of Minas Geiras to the north and the state of Paraná to the south.
