Engineering consultancy sought for Water desalination & Solar plant in Tunisia

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) is seeking an engineering consultancy firm (or consortium) to support the IFC and its government client in defining and designing the water desalination plant as well as the solar plant which are a part of the Phosphate Green PSP Program in Tunisia.

The program includes:

  • a slurry pipeline to transport phosphate from the mining basin to the washing plants;
  • a 100,000 m3/day desalination plant; and 
  • a solar plant to power both the slurry pipeline and the desalination plant.

The World Bank Group intends to finance the assignment/services. Expressions of Interest not exceeding 30 pages should be submitted, in English, electronically through WBGeProcure RFx Now by June 24, 2024. More information about the tender is available on our Business Opportunity page here.
