The government of Colombia announced the suspension of infrastructure projects throughout the country on March 26, 2020, under the decree 482. Only the work fronts that are required from the technical and operational point of view will continue.
The majority of infrastructure projects were stopped, but eleven concessions will continue to operate with some work fronts to guarantee the stability of the structures. These are bridges and tunnels that are under construction and that, from an engineering point of view, cannot be left abandoned.
The projects to continue works are: Mar road connections 1 and 2, and Magdalena River Highway among others.
