Eletrobras appoints transaction coordinators for privatization process

Eletrobras has pre-selected coordinators to advise in privatization process of the company. The five banks to act as main coordinators are Bank of America, BTG Pactual, Goldman Sachs, Itaú BBA, and XP Investimentos.

The state-owned Eletrobras is currently working on the contracting procedure and awaiting final approval for the contract. Once approved, Eletrobras plans to launch a contract inviting private investors to submit the bids for its 61% stake.
