Breakwater Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of EIG, acquired the 25% interest in Repsol Upstream. The portfolio maintains a relatively low carbon intensity in comparison to peers and generates a sizable amount of free cash flow, which should support a sizable dividend.
EIG is an institutional investor in the global energy and infrastructure sectors, Repsol Upstream, a newly-formed, gas-weighted exploration & production company comprising Repsol’s entire global upstream oil and gas business.
