Eiffage has bought a 49% stake in the Millau Viaduct concession from the Caisse des Dépôts Group, regaining full ownership of the concession.
By finalizing the EUR236.5 Million (US$255 Million) purchase using its existing cash reserves, Eiffage has gained complete ownership of the Millau Viaduct concession company. This acquisition reaffirms Eiffage's commitment to this iconic 21st-century architectural masterpiece, which the company constructed within a remarkable three-year timeframe under a concession agreement set to expire in 2079. Eiffage has been managing the Millau Viaduct since its inauguration in 2004, and this latest acquisition strengthens the company's concessions portfolio even further.
