Casil Europe is in negotiation with Eiffage for the sale of its 49.9% of shares held in the operating company of Toulouse-Blagnac Airport (ATB).
In April 2015, Casil Europe has acquired the 49.9% shares from the French Government for a total of EUR308 million (US$336.7 million). Earlier this year, the Chinese consortium has decided to look for buyers of the stakes. Effage has presented itself as a long-term partner of ATB alongside the other shareholders, with a focus on development in respect of territorial constraints and balances.
The privatization is still pending for review and consultations after several oppositions. Aside from Eiffage construction and motorway concessions group, other interested companies include Vinci Airports group - Banque des Territoires (Caisse des Dépôts Group) - Predica, the regional banks Caisse d'épargne Midi-Pyrénées and the associated Banque Populaire de Occitan in Ardian and the funds Mirova (Natixis) and Edeis.
