Eiffage has decided to use its pre-emptive right to acquire the 35% of Aliénor stake held by Sanef. Aliénor is the concession company formed by both companies for the Autoroute A65 Pau-Langon PPP project.
In addition, Eiffage has entered into negotiations with Sanef to acquire a full capital (100%) of Sanef Aquitaine, which has the operation and maintenance contract for the A65 project. The concession contract for the project is valid till 2067.
The transactions represent in total US$222 million. Once finalized, Eiffage will be the sole owner of Sanef Aquitaine and the sole shareholder of Aliénor. The transactions are expected to be completed during the second half of 2021, subject to suspensive and regulatory conditions.
