A'liénor, a 65% subsidiary of Eiffage and 35% of Sanef, the concession company that operates the Pau-Langon A65 motorway in south-west France, has completed the refinancing of its debt. The company has secured up to EUR825 million (US$954.15 million) from 11 banks which matures in 10 years, replacing existing debt maturing in January 2020.
This operation, largely oversubscribed by the market, reinforces the financial structure of A'liénor and allows it to benefit from the decrease in interest rates since 2015.
A'liénor was awarded a 60-year concession contract to design, finance, construct, operate and maintain the greenfield 150km-long motorway link in 2006. Operations commenced in December 2010.
