EF 151 North-South Railway (FNS) project set to be auctioned

Ministry of Infrastructure and the National Land Transport Agency (ANTT) of Brazil has announced plans to carry out an auction for the EF 151 North-South Railway (FNS) project on 28th March 2019.

This project includes the section that goes from Estrela d'Oeste (SP) to Porto Nacional (TO), with 1,537 kilometers. The total project investment is estimated at R$2.5 billion (US$740 million) and the concession contract will be for a period of 30 years.

The project is part of the Federal Government's plans to hold 23 concessions, including port terminals, airports, and railways.
