Edgemoor Infrastructure & Real Estate closed on the financing for the University of Nevada, Reno College of Business building in the USA.

The Edgemoor team, consisting of Clark Construction Group as the design builder and LMN Architects as the designer, is responsible for the College of Business building. Edgemoor, in collaboration with the University, has established a third-party development agreement. This consortium will handle the design, construction, financing, operation, and maintenance of the facility for a period of 30 years. The transaction follows a lease-leaseback structure between UNR and an independent non-profit entity named National Campus and Community Development.

The new 128,000-sq-ft facility for modern business education will feature a 300-seat auditorium, advanced technology labs, optimized teaching spaces, a café/social area, team meeting spaces, faculty and administrative offices, landscaped courtyard, outdoor plazas, and programs promoting entrepreneurship and innovation. Future development in the Gateway will include a hotel/conference center and a Life Sciences teaching laboratory complex. Construction of the College of Business building will commence on-site in July 2023, followed by an official ground-breaking celebration in the fall. The building is projected to be finished by Summer 2025 and fully operational for the Fall 2025 semester.
