EDF Renouvelables has been awarded a contract to develop a 60 MW solar PV plant in France that will contribute to the energy and economic recovery of land located within the confines of Deauville-Normandie Airport. Covering an area of more than 45 hectares, this photovoltaic plant will have a capacity of 60 MW and will produce a quantity of electricity greater than the annual consumption of all 21,000 inhabitants of the Cœur Côte Fleurie Community of Communes.
The project scope involves the construction of roads, installation of photovoltaic panels and electrical connection. The concession period for the project is 30 years. The commissioning of the PV plant is expected in 2024.
