Municipality of Catania in Sicily, Italy has concluded the tendering process for the North link road connecting to Fontanarossa-Catania international airport. 15 operators had been invited to negotiate procedure in response to the expression of interest notice issued by the authority. These operators submitted their economical offers for the project, which were opened on November 17, 2021 by authority on SAC administrative offices.
The project works involve development of road connecting Fontanarossa-Catania international airport to the North Link in the parking area of the former sports field and the extension of the P6 car park located in Airport. The total cost of works amounts to EUR1.12 million (US$1.26 million).
