European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has launched two tender processes for feasibility studies of the Astana On-Street Parking in Kazakhstan and of the Kvemo Kartli Solid Waste Management in Georgia.

Astana On-Street Parking project will include the procurement of a comprehensive system of on-street parking equipment systems, including space demarcation, parking payment machines, communications networks to process electronic payments, enforcement equipment and towing vehicles, back-office computer hardware and software, and hand-held ticketing devices for enforcement. The approximate size of the new on-street parking system will be 6,800 car spaces.

The maximum budget available for the assignment is €155,000, and it will have a duration of 4 months. The assignment is scheduled to star in April 2014. Interested firms and groups must submit their expressions of interest (EOI) on or before 17 March, 2014.

Kvemo Kartli Solid Waste Management will serve a population of 280,000 from Marneuli, Tetritsqaro, Bolnisi, Dmanisi and Tsalka. The project will be developed in phases with the implementation and design of one phase being subject to the findings and results of the previous phase. The current assignment defines the Feasibility Study requirements for Phases 2 and 3.

The maximum budget available for the assignment is €280,000, and it will have a duration of 6 months. The assignment is scheduled to star in Q2 2014. Interested firms and groups must submit their expressions of interest (EOI) on or before 20 March, 2014.
