British final advisor DWPF has strengthened its advisory and modelling capabilities with the appointment of Jason Withers, an experienced infrastructure and renewables professional.
Jason has worked for over a decade in the PPP, infrastructure and renewables sectors on deals in the UK and internationally, most recently as an Investment Manager within the project finance team at leading international infrastructure investor and asset manager, John Laing plc. Whilst at John Laing, Jason was responsible for providing project finance and commercial expertise in support of new business bids, acquisitions, variations, project enhancements and special projects.
Jason was the financial lead on numerous deals including John Laing's bids for Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route, West London waste and Goethal Bridge (New York), and has also reached financial close on a number of renewable transactions (solar and on-shore wind).
Prior to working at John Laing, Jason has spent two years working on PFI transactions at Serco Defence and Aerospace, including the successful financial close of the £1bn Future Provision of Marine Services contract.
Jason's experience will further boost DWPF's renewables capabilities and one of his first roles with DWPF will be to provide financial and commercial support in project financing an on-shore wind investment in the UK.
Jason holds a BCom from the University of Tasmania, and a MCom - Economics & Finance from Curtin University, Perth.
