The National Waterway Transport Agency (Antaq) in Brazil has approved the technical studies and the draft contract and public notice for the lease of the STS08 and STS08A terminals in the Organized Port of Santos. The terminals are intended for handling liquid bulk, especially fuel.

Total investments are projected at around BRL 1.4 billion (US$ 265 million). The qualification of the two projects in the portfolio of the Investment Partnerships Program (PPI) was decided during the meeting of the PPI Council. The next stage of the project is the study protocol with the Federal Audit Court. The auctions are expected to be held by the end of 2020.
