The Municipality of Teresópolis in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil has launched a draft bidding notice for its sanitation concession.
The concession includes water treatment and distribution, sewage collection and treatment services in the municipality. The selected private partner will be responsible for the construction of 367 kilometers of sewage network, 4 treatment stations, 9 pumping stations and 11 biodigesters.
The authority intends to finalize the concession procedure by the end of 2021. The draft bidding notice can be found here.
