The City of Inglewood has published the Recirculated Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for its proposed Transit Connector PPP project in the USA.
The project involves the construction of a 1.8 miles fully elevated, automated, fixed transit system with 3 stations in Inglewood. The connector will complete a gap between the countywide Metro Rail System and the new housing and employment centers. The project will support economic revitalization and growth opportunities for transit-oriented development (TOD). The design and construction of the transit connector are planned for Q3 2023 to Q4 2027.
The first draft of EIR was issued on December 23, 2020. The comment period for the new draft EIR is November 12 to December 27, 2021. More information is available here.
