The District of Sigmaringen has awarded a contract to Georg Reisch GmbH & Co for the development of a new building for the Bertha Benz School in Germany.
The Georg Reisch GmbH & Co. will be responsible for the planning, construction and operation of a new Bertha Benz School building in Sigmaringen for 25 years. The building will have a gross floor area of around 20,300 m², in addition to a campus and a multi-story car park on a total of around 40,000 m². The building will also incorporate modern energy-efficient technologies in the form of photovoltaic systems and a combined heat supply using an air-water heat pump and district heating.
The estimated value of the construction contract is EUR99 million (US$105.19 million).
