Digital 9 to acquire stake in Arqiva from CPP Investments

Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP) has agreed on the terms of the sale of the entire stake in Arqiva Group Limited to Digital 9 Infrastructure plc (D9).

Arqiva Group is a wireless infrastructure provider of television and radio broadcasting services in the UK. The company specializes in providing connectivity services to people and devices through the transmission of the TV signal, radio, mobile telephony and data transmission between objects ('machine to machine'). 

CPP’s net proceeds from the transaction, after certain costs and adjustments, are expected to be approximately CAD585 million (US$454.49 million). The transaction is subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals and is expected to complete in the second half of 2022.
