Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (Dewa) has issued an invitation seeking private firms for the advisory services contract for phase two of its seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) plant in Hassyan, UAE.
The project will have the capacity of 60 million imperial gallons a day (MIGD) and is expected to be operational in 2030. The AED1.5 billion (USD410 million) first phase of the project has a capacity of 120 million imperial gallons of seawater per day and is yet to reach a financial close. UAE-based utility developer, Utico is responsible for the Engineering, procurement and construction of the project.
The last date to submit the response is July 19, 2022.
