Dorset Council has sought a strategic development partner to deliver and manage at least four Extra Care Housing Schemes across Dorset.
The 10-year contract, valued at GBP 173 million (US$ 230 million), involves constructing and operating these schemes, with the council providing nomination rights and a third-party care provider. Two initial sites are in Bridport and Wareham, with future sites planned. The partnership aims to enhance care and support services, offering both financial and social benefits. The deadline for applications is November 8, 2024.
