The Point of the Mountain State Land Authority has selected Lincoln Property Company, Colmena Group and Wadsworth Development Group to execute the first phase of development at The Point located in Utah, USA. The 600 acres of state-owned property at the current site of the Utah State Prison in Draper is known as “The Point".

The selected developers will be responsible for the development of 7,400 housing units spread over an area of 15 million sq ft, a stadium, parks & open space and a transit line through the site and down into Utah County.

The US$1 billion project aims to establish the following key Vision Elements:

• Community - Create an iconic, vibrant, mixed-use community;
• Transit – Serve the site with a high-quality, multimodal transportation system; 
• Economic Opportunity – Promote enduring statewide economic opportunity;
• Innovation - Catalyze cutting-edge research, creativity and ingenuity; 
• Sustainability - Improve air quality, reduce water and resource use; 
• Collaboration - Work closely with the public to implement Utahns’ vision for The Point.
