Developer sought for West Quad Grangegorman Property Exchange Project in Dublin

The Grangegorman Development Agency has sought a Developer for the design, build (construction) and financing of the West Quad at Grangegorman in exchange for the title of the TU Dublin Aungier St. Campus in Dublin, Ireland.

The West Quad is set to offer approximately 21,000 square meters of additional learning and teaching space for higher education, facilitating the ongoing consolidation of various elements of TU Dublin at Grangegorman. This new facility will replace current TU Dublin facilities, functions, and operations located at the TU Dublin Aungier St. Campus. The funding for the development of the West Quad will be generated through the disposal of the existing Aungier St. Campus facilities.

The West Quad Grangegorman Property Exchange Project comprises, three principal elements:

  1. The construction by a Developer of the West Quad at Grangegorman by the West Quad Works Requirements in exchange for which the title to the Aungier St. Campus is transferred to the Developer;
  2. The primary consideration for the construction of the West Quad is the transfer of the Aungier St. Campus title to the Developer; and
  3. The entitlement of TU Dublin to remain in place and enjoy the full use and benefit of the Aungier St. Campus until 60 working days after the West Quad reaches Substantial Completion.
