Laredo City Council and Binational Technical Working Group in Texas, USA have selected a joint venture (JV) of Overland and Able City as technical consultants for the Binational River Park PPP project.
The consultants will provide architectural design and master planning for the 6.3 mile-long park adjacent to Rio Grande River on USA-Mexico border near south Texas. The park will be developed on a river section connecting Laredo city in the USA to Nuevo Laredo city in Mexico. It aims to re-establish the river’s ecosystem, revitalize the economy, add cultural assets, such as public art, and attract tourism on both sides of the river.
