The NGE Group’s subsidiary, TSO Can Inc., has awarded Egis the design services contract for the 1.5 kV overhead electrification for the Ontario Line subway project in Toronto, Canada.
Egis will be responsible for designing and implementing the Overhead Contact System for a 15.6-km project. This includes installing overhead catenary infrastructure along the elevated and ground-level sections of the route, as well as in depot areas. Additionally, overhead contact rail will be installed within the twin-bore subway tunnels. Egis will utilize its extensive local and global expertise in rail systems and electrification to support TSO Can Inc., ensuring adherence to local regulations and contributing to the project's success.
