The Miller Hull Partnership and Woods Bagot have presented the design for the C Concourse Expansion (CCE) at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), the USA. The project is being developed by the Port of Seattle and will add four additional floors above the existing building.
The project spans the C and D Concourses with 13,500 square meters of dining and retail, amenities such as an Interfaith Prayer and Meditation Room and Nursing Suite, and Alaska Airlines Lounge. The expansion also includes office space for airport businesses, airlines, and the TSA.
The project is expected to begin construction in mid-2023 and is scheduled to be finalized in 2027. Turner Construction acts as a general contractor, and Jacobs and Parametrix act as technical advisors for the authority.
