The Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic has established a public procurement to design, build, finance, operate (including medical services) and maintain a new university hospital in Bratislava(NUHB) Slovakia.
The NUHB aims to achieve its strategic objectives by providing healthcare services of Western European standard quality. The proposed Project includes inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic medical services, with a potential focus on education and research. It aims to improve the efficiency and quality of healthcare delivery. The NUHB will offer a range of tertiary healthcare services to the Bratislava region, including trauma and specialist care at a national level. The physical and technical infrastructure of the NUHB will meet EU-benchmark standards for quality, safety, and operational efficiency, while also being flexible enough to adapt to changes in demand and operational principles. The private partner is expected to be responsible for the following services:
