The Department of Technology and Information (DTI) of Delaware, a northeastern US state, has amended the submission deadline for a Request for Proposals for a broadband project. Launched earlier this month, the RFP originally closed on 4 October 2018. This has been amended to 18 October.
This means that the deadline to submit questions has changed to 3 October, and that final responses to questions will be posted by 8 October.
The project involves the construction, operation and maintenance of a network to provide broadband internet service to approximately 127,700 homes and businesses in the rural parts of Sussex and Kent Counties. DTI has placed prioritization on low-cost services for low-income families to enable them to take full advantage of the internet.
