Deutsche Einheit Fernstraßenplanungs- und -bau GmbH (DEGES) has extended the submission of the best and final offers of the final bidders, Strabag and Vinci, for Germany's A49 motorway PPP project.
DEGES is aiming for a speedy conclusion of the tender procedure for the PPP project A 49 junction (AS) Fritzlar to Ohmtal-Dreieck, which contains the new construction of the A49 between the AS Schwalmstadt and the Ohmtal-Dreieck.
The contract is expected to be awarded to the selected partner by the second quarter of 2020. Construction of the project is scheduled after the awarding of the project with the commissioning due on 2024.
