Deadline extended for Water Supply and Septage PPP Project in Philippines

The Bislig City Water District (BCWD) has issued a notice to extend the bid submission deadline for the  Bislig City Bulk Water Supply Project in the Philippines.

Given the substantial interest from numerous prospective bidders, this extension is intended to provide all interested parties with sufficient time to develop comprehensive and competitive bids that align with the project's objectives and requirements. The BCWD will hold bidder consultations from December 4 to 6, 2024. These sessions aim to help bidders understand the project evaluation criteria and submission process, address concerns regarding updated bid documents, and offer opportunities for feedback on potential project improvements. Participation in the consultations is strongly encouraged to foster competitive bidding.

The PHP0.71 billion (US$12.26 million) project involves the design, financing, construction, operations, and maintenance of a bulk water facility and the rehabilitation and expansion of the existing distribution network. It aims to provide Bislig City with a sustainable and reliable water supply through the development of a new water source and a bulk water facility and the replacement of water distribution pipes.
