The Ministry of Public Works and Housing in Jordan has extended the deadline of the request for qualifications (RFQ) for the replacement of the King Hussein Bridge Crossing Terminal in Jordan.
The project will feature truck and passenger handling facilities, including modern cargo and luggage scanning, multi-traffic lane entry and exit points with electric gates and check booths, a duty-free facility, and a medical emergency center. The selected private partner will be responsible for financing, designing, building, maintaining and operating a new border crossing terminal. The authority expects to sign the PPP concession and achieve commercial close by Q1 2023.
