The Bureau of Corrections, an executive agency under the Government of the United States Virgin Islands, has extended the deadline for the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the correctional facility PPP.
The project involves the development of the new Alva A. Swan Correctional Annex on St.Thomas, which will be primarily used for housing pre-trial detainees in and for the territory of the USA Virgin Islands. The selected partner will be responsible for the design, build, finance and maintenance of the new facility for a total period of 22 years.
