The City of Le Havre, in north-west France, has disclosed that it awarded a concession contract for the design, construction, financing, maintenance and operation of a public heating system to a joint venture between Dalkia and Cram earlier this month. The company was selected from four bidders.
The length of the contract is 24 years. The concessionaire will commence works on 1 October 2018. The estimated total value is EUR325 million (US$379.5 million).
