Dachser has acquired the remaining 50% of the shares in its Hungarian joint ventures “Liegl & Dachser Szállítmányozási és Logisztikai Kft.” (transport and storage of industrial goods and food products) and “Liegl & Dachser ASL Hungary Kft.” (air and sea freight).

The joint venture Liegl & Dachser was involved in the transport and storage of consumer and industrial goods, but in 2006 the Hungarian Air and Sea Freight Organization was added and in 2008 the company became involved in food logistics. Liegl & Dachser has become the local market leader in the transport and storage of industrial goods and foodstuffs. After the purchase of Dachser Hungary became a pillar of the European group transport network.

Dachser's business lines European Logistics, Food Logistics and Air & Sea Logistics are also active in Hungary.
